Paul Haeuptle

Mr. Haeuptle was one of my favorite teachers. He made science fun and interesting and really cared about every student. His controlled smirk meant job well done. Playing basketball all 4 years of high school, he was always up coaching wrestling looking down occasionally to the gym, apparently noticing how many lay ups I missed and letting me know with his consistent smirk and sarcastic funny tone the next day in class. He would say maybe if you just slowed down a little bit one would go in....

My heartfelt sympathy to all the family mourning the loss of Mr. Haeuptle. I remember him as our principal at school.
