Not sure what to say?

As just a young boy...with my father every Thurs night!
You would find us at the Columbia Speedway. The best racing ever...and my all time favorite was that yellow with red #87 65 Chevelle. The driver Mr. Bud Moore.
Highlights of my childhood with my father. I lost my father a few years back, and I've so enjoyed the wonderful memories of those early days of racing and the great men that made it all happen.

remembered by

Paul Bud Moore was an outstanding mentor, neighbor and family friend. From the age of 3 years old I always recalled him pulling out his candy apple red Chevy Nova II from the garage across the street from my home on 7 Isabella Street and letting me and the other neighborhood kids get a glimpse of him at work. He and his family were a part of my village in downtown Charleston and I am a better person from my association with them.

I cannot remember a time when we talked or shared some time together that he did not put a smile on my face. I am proud to have known him. He was a great man. rip Bud

Ida, we are sorry for your loss, Bud was a great friend, we had a lot of good times together with you and Bud. Take care and if you need us, please let us know. He will surely be missed by all!
