Paul L. Hahn, 92, of the Gino Merli Veterans Center in Scranton, and formerly of Bangor, PA passed away on Sunday, March 31st, at the Regional Hospital of Scranton, Scranton, PA.


Paul was born in Hamilton Twp, PA on December 28, 1926, a son of the late Clarence M. and Bertha (Altemose) Hahn.


He was the husband of Marion (Lohman) Hahn. They celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary last October. Paul was employed as an electrician for the former Blue Ridge Textile Co. in Bangor, PA., and the former Collins & Aikman in Pen Argyl, PA. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, during WW II. Paul enjoyed spending his time fishing, reading, and motorcycle riding.


Paul was a 35-year member of the American Legion Martocci - Capobianco Post 750 of Roseto, PA, and a former Scoutmaster of Troop 41 in Johnsonville, PA. He was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church, Bangor, PA.


In addition to his wife Marion, Paul is survived by two sons Loren Hahn, of Austin, TX, Barry Hahn, husband of Flora, of Bangor. PA; 5 grandchildren; Corey, Jesse, Vanessa, Ryan, and Krista Hahn; and a great-granddaughter Perry Hahn. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elinor Hoffman and Dorothy Mann, and seven brothers, Arlington, Clarence, William, Claude, Ralph, Clyde, and Carl Hahn.


Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 in the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 4 Lillian Lane, "Village of Johnsonville" Bangor, PA. Family and friends are invited to call, Thursday, from 11 AM to 12 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be held in Wind Gap Cemetery, Wind Gap, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gino Merli Veterans Center, 401 Penn Ave. Scranton, PA 18503.

My God my uncle Paul !! I did not know until right now 12/9/19..I was saving pictures of my grand parents and just found this... It really breaks my heart..I loved him dearly..I just don't know what to say..

We both worked with Paul at BRW Textiles. Really nice man. May God bless you and your family at this time of sorrow.
