I am forever fortunate to not only having been associated with Mr. Haley and “growing up” in the same town, Lockport, but having Mr. Haley serve as a mentor and a definitive role model in regards to the attributes one should possess if he/she desires to be an educational administrator. Mr. Haley provided me with my first administrative experience as an Intern at the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES in 1977. I was able to observe Mr. Haley “up close and personal” and to interact with him on a number of...

Mr. Haley was a fabulous educator and an amazing Lew-Port principal. He knew his students, understood them and counseled them. We all respected him because of his integrity, fairness and great sense of humor. I am sure I am among hundreds of Lew-Port graduates who remember him and are happy to have known him. He made the world a better place. Joan Maulis (Class of 1966)

He was always so energetic, motivated, fair, objective and focused on his work and on all of his students, teachers and other staff. Since...

Paul hired me in 1961. The very best principal I had in my 23 years at Lew-Port. He was also a fellow Lockportian and an inspirational friend.

Oh WOW .... Mr. Haley was my General Science and Biology teacher at Lew-Port. (I was class of 1959.) He was wonderful and, I think, all the girls thought he was "dreamy". So nice to read about how much he contributed to the profession. My condolences to all his family.
