Not sure what to say?

Condolences to the Hammersmith family. I was member of Air Explorer Post 309 in the ealy 1960's and remember many great times with that group, most memorable was a 50 mile canoe trip in the Quetico border area in Canada. I learned a lot about life during those years and have thought of him many times. He helped many young men through the rough spots. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to you and your family. Mr. Hammersmith sounds like a talented and learned man. Your name sounds familiar and I noticed he attended Principia. I wondered if our family knew you years ago. Did you attend 4th Church in Milwaukee? My parents were Vern & Evelyn Williams; my siblings Jean, Barbara & Brian. If you wish, at your convenience, write me at [email protected]
Sincerely, Lynn Williams Bethke

My deepest condolences to Paul's family.
I was one of Paul's scouts during the
1960's. The trips we took and the life
lessons learned are what I will always
remember. Thanks for everything.Rest in peace, Paul.

Quiet, sweet and gentle is how I would describe my Uncle Paul. May he rest in peace. Paula Fontaine-Haake, Austin Texas

Uncle Paul was a wonderfully kind uncle and a gifted artist. We've all lost another great Hammersmith.

He was my favorite uncle and I have many fond memories of him. Patricia Porth Roberts
