Not sure what to say?

Steve, Mrs. Hampel and all the family, my sincere condolences.

Like several that have already written, when I look back on the great memories of my childhood, time spent at the Hampel house and the influence of (Paul) Mr. Hampel will never be forgotten.

As a young boy growing up in the 70"s Paul WAS Clint Eastwood. Strong, brave, tough - and he even looked a little like him (at least to me as 9 year old). In a word - Mr. Hampel was "cool". And that's a big deal to a...

Joe, I just learned about you losing your father... I am so sorry. You’ve talked in past about your dad and all that he meant to you. My heart goes out to you, your mom, your sister and brothers… I’ll be thinking of you, and wishing you peace and comfort and strength.

My family's thoughts and wishes go-out to the Hampel family, and especially Mary Hampel on this day. I spent many happy times at the Hampel home, as I grew-up with Steve, and enjoyed a lot good times with his brothers. And, while I remember many great stories about the Hampel family and Mr. Hampel (Paul); I always remember how Paul made those around him feel good about themselves and about who they were (he seemed to understand something about “individuality”)… Paul had a real touch and...

Hampel Family,

Paul and I were 38 years apart in age but I considered him to be a friend and mentor. I will forever be grateful to the Hampel Family for introducing me to my wife and new son.

Our deepest sympathy,

Steve and Lori,
We are deeply sorry for your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Please reach out if we could do anything.

Sincerely,

Gene, Teresa and Cali Kroenung

Our deepest sympathy to the Hampel family. We know the closeness this family shares and will continue to hold each and everyone of them in our prayers. With our love,

Paul could always make you smile

Dear Hampel family,

I fondly remember hanging out at the Hampel household, playing sports in the backyard, and checking out Mr. Hampel's latest used cop car in the driveway; it always had an extra gear! He was always a man's man in my young eyes, but his warmth and humor always made me feel welcome.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to your family.

Peace, Matt

Paul will always be in my heart and conversations, the impact on my personal veiw of life will never be replaced. I never met a person that lived for his family and freinds more than Paul. I feel blessed to have had Paul in my life.
My deepest sympathy to Mary and the family.
