I always loved to see Bud at different family events and with Bob & Duwanna back when I was a kid. He was a sweet man. Thinking of all of you at this time of loss.

Heart felt sympathy to the Hankerd family. I knew Bud by way of my dad, Phil Westfall and Dana Corp. I had the pleasure of helping them cut and split wood many times. He was a very good man and great to work with. Dad, Gary, and Bud were friends forever and I affectionately called them the Liars Club. They enjoyed working together and picking on anyone they worked with. Rest in peace, Bud, and say Hi to my dad.

Thoughts and prayers for the entire Hankerd family. I knew Bud through our shared love for the fire service. Bud was not only involved with the Chelsea Fire Department, but was active with the Washtenaw Area Mutual Aid Association.
Rest in peace Brother!
