Not sure what to say?

I'm deeply distressed to read, just now, of Paul's death. I taught him at St. Ben, and I still think he was one of the finest men I encountered during the years (off and on from 1968 to 1987) when I taught there. He was remarkably thoughtful, deeply engaged in his studies, resolutely manly and Christlike in his character. He asked me, as he was about to graduate in 1985, whether he should proceed to the major seminary, and I told him he'd make a fine priest. And I'm sure he was so. May...

Dear Fr. Paul, Jim and I and our children were fortunate to have you as our pastor at St. Andrew the Apostle and our friend. Rest in peace. You have fought the good fight and God needed you to come home. Dr. Jim and Fran Moorman and Family

Rest in peace my friend. It was a privilege to know you. May God's glory embrace and welcome you.

Rest in peace, Fr. Paul. It was an honor to know you.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Rest in peace, Fr. Paul.

Father Paul was the Pastor at St. Andrews when I first met him. He presided over my daughter´s first communion. I will never forget his homily. It was perfect. Unfortunately, he was the Pastor when my father was murdered. But not really. He could not have brought more peace to our family at such a horrible time, especially to my mother. He was so kind. He came and check on my mother every day. He gave her comfort. We will be forever grateful for that comfort.

Fr. Paul was a wonderful retreat master and extraordinary confessor who will be missed dearly.

Thanks for being there for my family, Fr. Paul! I'll never forget your homily at my grandfather's funeral!
