Not sure what to say?

Musicians are wonderful people. They add to our joy, they console us, they lift us up. Paul was a great player who brought a lot of joy to me. We played together for a couple years and his instincts and listening abilities made it great fun to play music with him. RIP, buddy.

I will never forget the first time Paul showed up at my house to play music. The first tune he played was Layla, and he had that luck down perfectly. It was great fun to play music with him.

Paul will always be in my heart and mind for being not only a great player and friend, but just a fine human being. He was so relaxed, comfortable behind that guitar. It was just awesome to be able to play music with him. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, Paul.

My deepest sympathy to the whole Haugen family. I remember Paul playing the guitar in 6th grade and even building an Erector Set with him and Mark at their home on 63rd Street. Paul was fun and I had a crush on him in 6th grade at Paiute School. Judy would give us all a ride to St. Teresa School when we were in 1st grade. Yep, I remember boating in their MasterCraft boat on Saguaro Lake in high school. Paul was one of a kind, loving, funny and heartful. I am sorry I missed the services but my...

Very sorry to hear about Paul. He was a kind, talented person and a terrific colleague. We have only the best memories of Paul.
Condolences to his family and friends.

So sorry to hear this terrible news. It was always a pleasure working with Paul. My condolences to all his family and friends.

I was so saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I only knew Paul for a brief period of time, but the experience was memorable for me. The first rock band I was in was with Paul, in the early 70s. Paul and Tim bringing me into that band was a big deal to me. I always greatly admired Paul. He was such a smart, friendly, good-looking and talented guy. I'll never forget the first time I heard him play guitar. I was amazed. He was such a naturally talented musician. At the time, I was taking bass...

So sorry to hear about this. Paul was so inspirational during my high school years at Gerard. Loved listening to his guitar and seeing him play live at Bluegrass Country on Thursday nights years ago. The world is a bit quieter without him.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Paul, prayers for all of them at such an emotional time.
