Not sure what to say?

Please accept our heartfelt prayers and sympathy at the passing of Paul Hayes. As new neighbors we haven't known you very long but feel honored that you called upon us during your darkest moments. We were here for you then and will be here for you in the future.
The O'Connel Family

We are so very saddened to hear of Paul's passing, and want to express our deepest condolences to his wife, Linda and to his parents and brother. As he was a great friend to both my husband, Adrian, and I. I first met Paul and his wonderful parents the summer during freshman orientation for Wheeling Jesuit College. When classes began in the Fall, we became close friends and would often laugh, when we realized that we had sat across from one another a few months prior as nervous freshman. I...

I will always remember Paul for his gentle spirit, his huge heart, and his great smile! My sympathies to Paul's family and wife...no words can make it easier for any of you. You are in my prayers.

I am shocked and sorry to hear about Paul's passing away. He was a friend to both of my sons, Paul and Mark, who knew him at Wheeliing Jesuit College. He seemed like a really descent human being and a good guy to be around. My wife and I have the deepest sympathy for Paul, his parents and his family. My God bless you and be with you during this very difficult time.

My condolonces to the Hayes family. Paul was a great guy and roommate. His ability to bring the best out in everyone was an inspiration for us all. He will be missed.

My prayers and sympathy go out to his wife and family in this truly difficult time. Paul was always a hard working hard playing person who swung back at every ball life threw at him. May he be an example to us all, he will be sadly missed.

Our thought and prayes go out to the Hayes family. Paul's good nature, humor, and friendship was truly a joy to be around.

To Linda, Paul's family and Linda's family, My deepest sympathy is yours. I am sorry we never had the opportunity to pray together at the hospital that morning. Rest assured that Paul will always be a part of my devotions. I had the real pleasure of knowing Paul first on the pitch and then as we aged into manhood. He was special and he will be remembered fondly.

I met Paul at Wheeling Jesuit University in his freshman year and had the privilege of playing rugby with him as well as being his friend. When you are next to someone in a rugby match running down the field it is common to say “with you” to let the person next to you know that you are there if you need help or support. I heard the words “with you” from Paul many times on and off the rugby pitch. Paul was the kind of person that once you gained his friendship was always “with you.” Paul was a...
