Not sure what to say?

Dear Zach,Abby and Barb,
We were so very sad to learn of your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers and may God's love bring you peace and comfort.
We send our love,
Chris and Mary Jo Wortman Naples,FL
Matt and Brooke Baker St.Louis,MO

Paul and I were almost exactly the same age (I'm 10 days older) so, of course, he is in my earliest memories. I remember when he took medication at about age 6 and called it his "motor oil". I remember digging in the dirt outside Grandma Mabel's house with him. I remember going to the Evansville zoo with him and standing inside the mouth of the whale statue. And I remember Paul's kindness, his love of people and his love of his family. Lila, Zach, Abby, Carol and everyone else who loved...

I am so sorry to hear about Paul's death. I've known him my whole life and I can't believe he's gone. He gave me my first tractor ride when I was a little girl. He always loved to tease his "city" cousin from Indianapolis. My heart goes out to Lila, Zac, Abby, and Carol. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Lila,
So, so sorry for your loss of Paul.
Thinking of you...

I am a messigner for my and dad that just loved Paul. He was like a another son to my dad and mom. He was always there when my dad called. He said one time:
"Am I gonna to take care of you old folks for the rest of my life!" Floyd and Paul was always joking ...Paul was a man that was respected in our family. He knew what friendship was. Our whole family loved Paul and he will never be forgotten. My mom and dad have lost their best friend. Please know that the Gillies,...

Knowing that my dad had a friend like Paul makes life a happier place. I am lucky to have known him and to have him be a part of my extended family. Lila, you're my other mother. Dad is right, you will always be a part of our family. I love you!

So sorry to hear about Paul. Hopefully your memories and the memories shared by his friends will help you through the days ahead. Paul was a very close friend during our early childhood days filled with innocent (Tom Sawyer-like) adventure through the back yards of the neighborhood. Delightful memories.

No words can really say how much Paul will be missed. I had never taken time to have a friend like him until after I had known him for a while. I will miss our almost daily phone calls or our trips to lunch or our “necessary trips” to Rural King or Harbor Freight for something "very important”. I will always cherish these last few years of friendship and our vacations together. Lila, you will always be a part of the family to Joyce and myself.

Lila and Family,
So sorry to hear about Paul. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.
