Not sure what to say?

We still miss Paul's unselfish and caring characters. Whenever I listen to your favorate Bach's music, my heart goes empty without your being around. I salute to you again and miss you forever.

Till and I were surprised and very saddened to hear the news of Paul's death. Till, my wife was a high school classmate of Paul's at Ann Arbor High. He was a pledge brother to me at Phi Gamma Delta beginning our relationship in 1956.

I am especially grateful to Paul as he introduced me to Till and arranged our first date. We have remained "in touch" throughout our lives enjoying a Fiji hike in the Colorado mountains, a stop at his granddaughter's birthday party in D.C., sharing of...

The world and his friends at DISA have lost a great man and we express our deep condolences to his surviving family. I have been at DISA since January 3, 1989, as his colleague and saw him in last February when we listened together to Bach's Brandenburg Contertos at his McLean home and I promised to him that I would bring a Don-Giovani blueray to test at his great beloved surround sound system. I was shocked to spot his orbituary at the Internet while looking for any contact medium to...

TO the Hiniker extended family,

My sincerely sympathy goes out to all of you. I often think back to Ann Arbor and have fond memories of the Hiniker family. I am Marilyn (Maurer) Baker - my family lived next door to you. I always enjoyed visiting your home and having playful times at both homes. It appears Paul enjoyed a full and wondrous life, surrounded by much love and many positive challenges. Condolences as you navigate your grieving as well as celebrations of his life.

Linda, so sorry for your loss and that of the rest of the family. Bill Barton, a friend from my church told me about it yesterday. I have notified some of our fellow Phi Gams at Michigan. If you have an e-mail address that I can give to others who may wish to contact you, please send it to me Dick Curry at [email protected].

Linda, my sincere condolences for the loss of your father. Be well. Hugs, David Moore

Did the Hiniker family live in Falls Church in the early 50's? I was in the Scouts at St. James then and I played ball and fished with a Paul Hiniker and Pete Tackney. I too am 76. My friend Paul had a Dalmatian named Specs. He moved to Ann Arbor in the mid-50's. We didn't keep in touch but I did get an announcement of his wedding. If this is the same Paul I am truly sorry and dismayed that he was so near for years.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the Most High God comfort you as you mourn the loss of your loved one. (Psalm 83:18)
