Paul Hinshaw

Paul was an important influence in my life. In my youth, I was so fortunate to be a student of his and later, privileged to be able to work with him at SCC. He was a positive influence on me during a formative portion of my young life, always saying beneficial things that made me see what I could be in the future. As an employee of CVCC, I would like to offer my condolences to Dr. Garrett Hinshaw and his family for their loss.

Sorry for your loss, I liked paul alot

Paul and Letty were my church family, neighbors, and babysitters when I was younger. I thought a lot of both of them. I thought so much of Paul that, before I knew better, he was Paul in the Bible in my mind. He will be missed.

Dear Letty; we are greatly saddened to hear of Paul's passing. Just today; I was concerned about the safety of family members in the Carolinas as hurricane Ian moved from Florida towards the Appalachians. We cousins have have lost many of our family. You and Paul are in my memories as gentle members of our families over these many years.
