Rest easy Coach Hoh, your work here is done. I will always remember my years at Palisades - class of '96 - where you were my PE teacher, as well as football and track coach. You were an inspiration for grit and determination, to try again even if your first attempt wasn't the greatest. You were always there with a word of encouragement. And who could forget the infamous "Yoo-hooo?" if our attention strayed for a moment. I still hear that now and then.... May you find eternal peace. You...

Steve Hohenstein certainly had a commanding presence about him. He had a big heart, a kind heart and a passionate heart. What he valued and treasured most was the relationships he had with others. Steve gave of himself. There is no greater gift. Love and miss you Steve. Brenda and Larry Jerrom

Steve was a friend and fellow teacher who influenced and inspired the people he met. His positive attitude and energy was a magnet that naturally drew people to his side. Everyone loved and respected him. He will be missed. Gene Schecter
