Not sure what to say?

Dear sharon, I am so sorry to hear about pauls passing. I was so glad to know him, and always admired his great head of hair. He will be sadly missed as a friend and customer.

hi sharon this is john , dollys brother, i'm sorry for your loss, i guess moppy and suzzie is in charge now, its so hard to lose someone, i can only tell you that you are in my prayers, and i think of the time you had the mustang and you worked at the lumber yard and i would take your car to my mom and dad's house and cleaned it, i thought i was hot studd driving that car, alot of great memories and i'm sure you have alot of memories of your husband to help you get thru the hard times, so in...

To Mrs Hollern, Pat and your growing family to carry on the "Irish" , we pass on our deepest sympathy on your loss of a tremendous father, teacher and individual. Myself, my wife, and all three of my children all had the pleasure of going through McCort with the positives that "Skip" brought with him everyday. A total class act not soon to be repeated. May God comfort you all.

To the Hollern family.
From the days from Old Conemaugh Boro "Skip" was a good guy--man. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and those of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of such a wonderful person. Mr. Hollern had a true passion for his students and we all felt the same way about him. No other teacher could make World Geography as interesting as Mr. Hollern!

I will certainly miss him and I am sure every McCort student who had the pleasure of sitting in his classroom can say the same.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Hollern's passing. Even though we only had him our freshman year for geography, I fondly remember him, years later, standing in his doorway between classes ... always addressing us, & remembering our names even though we no longer had him for class.

McCort has lost a wonderful teacher, role-model, and friend. He's no longer suffering, but we are without him. He will be missed by many. Condolences to the family -- I'm sure his grandkids will grow up...

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Hollern's family upon his passing. I, like so many others, have fond memories of him as a truly great teacher at BMHS. Peace be with you all at this difficult time.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Hollern. I've lived in SC for the past 15 years and am a BMHS graduate of 1989. I heard about his loss on Facebook! What a man! He has touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed!
