Not sure what to say?

Captain Holmes . . .

How I cherish our brief but deep friendship.

The story that typifies the man you were was about your discovering a surfaced German submarine in the Mediterranean during WWII.

Rather than sinking it, you realized that these men, like yourself, were serving their country.

You radioed a nearby British vessel to rescue them.

Rest in peace, Captain.

We will miss you dearly Uncle Paul! My thoughts and prayers to my cousins, Mary Ann, David and Jothi. Please know Mom, my sister and I are here for you. Mindy

I will miss your cards and phone calls. You were such a special man. You always had kind words to say. I know I have been blessed to know you.

Capt. Homes, you were a wonderful person. I am blessed to have known you. Thank you for all you have done for our Country.

Dr.Holmes was the nicest man I've ever met in my 28 years of life. I was his maitenance man but most of all he was a good friend. He treated me with respect and cared for my well being. I can't say enough about Dr.Holmes he inspired me to become a better person just by the way he treated everyone around him with such respect it didn't matter who it was from garbage man to family he loved everyone. I miss u Dr Holmes and I know your happy being back with your wife and sister. Mary Ann if you...

Thank you for your service Capt. Holmes it is truly appreciated.
