Not sure what to say?

He was my guidance counselor at shaker high. I told him I dreamed of being a forest ranger and even accepted at Norwich back in 1980. He convinced me not to go, as there were no good jobs. So I enlisted in the US Army, afterwards I went to school fir architecture, then practiced architecture for 32 years. I currently am managing construction, and am a new author, having finally found a true passion. A guidance counselor should never crush a person's dreams or aspirations. In opinion he was a...

Paul and I were friends from the age of 10. We went to the Glenville Grange where we sang for the members. Later, we sang in Choralaires and enjoyed many parties together.

Paul and I were close for over 70 years: Grange, SHS, Choralaires,

Mohawk Valley Chorus, SHS reunions, etc. He and I could talk and

gossip for hours! I remember his spiffy way of dressing-especially

his shoes, his kindness and charm. He was truly one of my BFFs.

Paul was a friend for 63 years. My first contact with Paul was at Day Camp with Paul, my mighty councilor. Paul loved to sing. We shared several musical moments as Choralaires, members of Mohawk Valley Choir, a European Tour where we sang in France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. He sang with me at Freedom Park and Proctors Theatre. Paul served as the volunteer head Bartender at Proctor's for over 30 years. Too much to say but no space. My Choralaire buddy...sweet...funny...a true Gentleman! I will miss you more than words can say. I treasure the memories of performances, rehearsals, tours...my "house" in "Creatures of Impulse" as Mistress Martha where we all gathered before going onstage...laughing when Tom Fisher sat down and the stool collapsed under him onstage and he improvised a line...we had fun, didn't we? R.I.P. dear friend.

Paul was special to the family of William Warren, Broadalbin, NY, and touched many of us through his guidance counseling and kindness. He assisted me in applying for college back in 1975 as I can hear his early model dot matrix printer now pounding out a list of colleges for me to consider! He attended Bill's funeral in 2006 which is the last time we saw him. Our prayers are with his family.

Paul was a very kind soul who took great interest in his students and guided them on to their futures beyond Shaker HS. I was impressed that many years after I graduated, he still remembered my name.
Sincere sympathies to his family.

With deepest sympathy as you remember Paul.

I will never forget the day we lost our beloved dog Jake. Paul walked over and I answered the door. He said, "I just figured you needed a hug". He was sweet, kind, and funny. The best neighbor we could ever ask for. We will miss Paul dearly.

He fought a good fight, but now it's time for him to rest. Godspeed Paul, we Love you.
