Not sure what to say?

I am sadden by the death of this great missionary man Paul Hosteter, who served the Lord within the murle community, Anyauk communities even Nuer, of South Sudan with his friend Albert Roode, both of them were given murle names, Paul Hosteter was called "Lumeribok" and Albert Roode was called Lukurnyang, they were the first missionaries to build Reformed Churches within Murle and Anyuak communities, 1940-1964. I wish I can get their descendants, Albert Roode sponsored my 4 years theology...

Paul was a marvelous man. Witty, kind and strong in faith, Paul cherished his family and spoke of them often. Condolences to his family. We were all blessed to have known him.

It was my honor to serve with him on a missions project in Chaipas, Mexico. He was a dear friend as was Dorothy. I learned a lot of Christs love from them. Rest in peace my brother.

Our sympathy to the family of Paul. You will be missed in our circle of Chiapas co-workers.
With love and prayers and happy memories of the meaningful experiences we've shared.

The Sociology course he taught was the most meaningful course I took at RBC and made it relevant to our lives

My deepest sympathy in the loss of Mr Hostetter... As father, grandfather, great-grandfather... In whatever capacity we all knew him and Dorothy. It also shocked and saddened me to read in this obituary that Dorothy preceded him in 2015... I worked closely with her in the Admissions department at RBC and thoroughly enjoyed our friendship. Sincerely, prayerfully.

It was such a privilege to meet this man and hear about the many tasks God gave him to accomplish in his lifetime. I am thankful that I was allowed to be enlightened of his work as a part of my job. Blessings and prayers are with you as you celebrate his journey. 'Well done good and faithful servant'

My sympathies in the loss of your dad! I have enjoyed knowing Paul & Dorothy and working with all of you over the years.

Our condolences to the family in your loss. I will remember Rev Hostetter, and Dorothy as well, from my time at RBC. My interest in linguistics and cross-cultural missions was blessed by his insights, teaching and personality. It was a privilege to get to know him and experience his support and concern during my time as a student. I have thought of both Paul and Dorothy on various occasions and give thanks that they were in my life. May our God give you strength, peace and comfort as you say...
