My sincere condolences to the family of Reverend Hubbard. I was blessed to have his wife as a teacher and to know both Adrienne and Paul. May he rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon him.

Our deepest sympathy to Dr Hubbard’s family as you mourn the loss of this great saint! His big smile and friendly greeting always put a smile on my face when he would come in the door. “You’re the only Jesus some will ever see” Rest in the arms of Jesus in sweet peace. The late Dr. Paul Hubbard, Jr., was one of the senior preachers in our great brotherhood who made many contributions towards the furtherance of the gospel. He was also a fellow alumnus of my alma mater Bishop College in Dallas, Texas. May the peace of God be with all of you during your season of sorrow.

Praying for the family during this difficult time. I have many great memories of Cousin Paul visiting us in Arkansas every fall. His visits were always very special! My mom, Ella Mae and grandmother, Bigmama truly enjoyed all of the great stories that he shared about his many adventures. He was truly a joy to be around. He lived a full life and definitely left his mark on our family and the world.

I am a 64 year old black man who has parented if not fathered, who has accomplished much and lost perhaps even more, who has tried to stand against the injustices and evils of my time and has buried my own parents and two siblings and others that I have deeply loved and respected.

My condolences are extended to the family of the late Dr. Paul Hubbard, Jr. I knew him personally for many years as an outstanding preacher of the gospel. One of his sons (Lawrence) and I also attended Michigan Christian College (now known as Rochester University) in the early 1970's. Again, may the peace of God and the security of the Holy Spirit be with the family.
