Not sure what to say?

We continue to think of you. Just last weekend we finally fulfilled your wishes to place your ashes placed near Cleveland Ledge. It was a beautiful day, a "corker" as you would have said. We all miss you and Delphinus misses you terribly. The twins are much older now. It´s a lot of fun watching them grow. Love you...

Another year and oh...what a year. This spring you must have been watching over your sister. In my heart I was so sure she was going to join you. It felt like my world was coming to and end. Thank you for letting her stay with me a little longer. Your grand kids are doing very well and Shannon and Doug are well too. Kenny got married and he and Nicole are expecting, and Robby in engaged starting a job at Dartmouth College. Both mention missing you regularly. In short we are all still thinking...

Paul it is great to think about you again...truth be told I think of you often and miss our time together. I´m still keeping a eye on your sister...she keeps me busy and she often tells me how much she misses you. We went to visit Barbie and Michael to celebrate their anniversary and stayed at an Inn on the Beaverkill river where we got a little fishing in and wished you were there. Anyway, thank you for all the wonderful memories and cherished moments and lessons that help me everyday. Love...

We were so sorry to hear of Paul's passing recently on 8/5/19. We are so sorry.. we only found out about this late August from our ailing mother who is in a nursing home up in Maine.. had we been told, we would have attended Paul's funeral. We knew Paul through "family" over the years ( Beth & Nelson Stephens).. We loved Paul.. he was a good man and a good soul..we are sure he is in heaven now.. our sincere condolences are sent your way. Tim & Carol Garcia

To simply say I am sorry for your loss seems an inadequate expression of sympathy and empathy to all of Paul's family. Whether sister, daughter, son, grandchild or treasured friend, my love and support goes out to you. This quote was given to me during a period of loss and grief and I will pass it on to you.

Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation. Rumi

Paul was very wise...thoughtful and gracious. He was curious...he was knowledgeable and he was humble. I hit the lottery when I met his sister. He cultivated our friendship. He found common interests and developed them...for example he starting me off with a $300 dollar fishing reel! "That was some gift" I'd say to him...It only cost another thousand for the rod, waders, line and everything else! But it lead to a shared love for fly fishing in the ocean, the rivers and lakes. It was our time...
