Not sure what to say?

Peggy and Megan, I´m so saddened to hear of Paul´s passing. I so valued his friendship, willing assistance and wisdom always, humor constantly, and generosity with golf trips and even a day at The Masters. I have thought about all of you often. Know of my prayers for grace and peace along with your loving memories during this tender time. Rev. Dr. Harry Rowland

I´m sad to hear of the loss of Paul. Prayers for his family. He was part of a group of NOCHAS friends and I have fond memories of us all.

There is nothing you can say about Paul that is not true. I can't tell you the number of times I feel to the floor from laughing so hard. We spent alot of time together at Secession Golf Club playing golf and sitting on the porch. Paul will be missed by many and the memory of him will never go away. I think the funniest joke he ever told ws his McFrogleg sandwich from McDonalds. For those that heard it I know this brought a smile to your face. God Bless you Paul I will miss you and your...

Uncle Paul sent me this letter with a little gift, the gift lives on, her name is Tulip. I love you and miss you too pieces this literally fell out of a stack of papers tonight and was on top, it shocked me as I believe it´s a sign please keep sending signs

We first met Paul in the 1990's when we visited Aunt Delores and Uncle Bo at there vacation home at Kiawah Island. Funny is an understatement. Over the years we enjoyed many a joke but there was more . We loved to watch Uncle Bo laugh as he talked Paul into deviling Aunt Delores until she broke her usual southern demeaner and would occasionally cuss like a sailer. We are pretty sure she caught on to this joke and relished being a part of it. He introduced us to roasted Oysters at their lovely...

What a really great guy, I will miss the laughs he gave me!

Paul was a fine sportsman. While in law school, he acquired two beagle hounds. He said they were hunters so we went to an area outside of Columbia, ostensibly, to hunt. When he let the dogs out of the vehicle, they took off, not to be seen again for three hours. The hunting consisted of finding the dogs.

Peggy, I'm sorry to see this news. I will keep your family in my thoughts. Paul always had a smile and encouragement for everyone. I can still hear that big laugh echoing down the halls of 1105 Bay Street. He will certainly be missed by many.

Paul and I were classmates at Wofford and USC Law. We also shared many rounds of golf. He was a good friend and brother barrister and I will miss him.
