Mr. Isaacs pushed us, his students, to excel. Moreover, he emphasized the relationship above the instruction. Mr. Isaacs was my middle school band teacher, and his creative sense of humor and musical talent made band the best class of the day. His example of kindness and patience sticks with me still. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Since my retirement from MA I've missed visiting with Paul at combined campus functions. I enjoyed the warmth of his friendship and keenness of his wit. One of my children and three of my grandchildren were blessed to have him as a music instructor.
