I never had the pleasure of meeting Paul. A couple years ago, I purchased a stone lithograph in Minnesota that Paul had made in 1975. After a couple attempts on Google search, I finally found him last January and was able to ask him about the print. Thank you so much, Tony, for calling me last night to let me know of PJ's death. I am hearbroken to lose such an old friend and wish I had stayed in better touch with both of you over the years. I am going to go through my old photo albums and see if I can find some pictures of PJ to share with you from our college years. Until then, I am sending you a big hug now. Please let John know that you, he and all the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Paul from Mousie. I remember him fondly and have his paintings and books which illustrate so many important subjects of the mountains including the mining industry.
My condolences to his mother and his family.
