Not sure what to say?

I´ve found this obituary while researching the history of my classic car... it was Paul´s - a blue 1972 Honda Z600. His and Carolyn´s insurance cards are still in the glove box. How delightful to read that Paul was such a great human. The car is treasured by me and I love knowing the rich stories of the owners before me. My instagram is @joeythebrush if anyone remembers that little car, wants to see pictures, or has a story to share.

10 Years? Wow! Came across a few photos recently from the Cabrillo Kitchen crew days. Happy memory.

I so remember Paul driving up to our front door in Santa Fe on his beautiful bike. We were honored to be one of his stops along the way to his peace corps reunions. We spent hours catching up on Santa Cruz and national politics. I so wish Paul was still here.

Gone but not forgotten. Pauls name comes up in conversation when his mutual friends encounter each other.

We met Paul through is late wife Jeanette. Paul was a wonderful, intelligent, compassionate and kind gentleman. He hosted some super fun parties and we loved is train collection. We will miss him greatly.

Condolences to his extended family and friends.

The Pais Family

I worked closely with Paul for several years at the Santa Cruz Operation. We shared many dinners, co-taught many classes, co-developed courses, and we did our best to create great training courses. I will remember Paul with warmth and care - as a friend.

First met Paul through the food bank. I think we were on the ACLU Board together but I remember him for his extreme support of gay rights. Condolences to family especially Len who I did not know we also had a connection through Paul.

Paul - last year - Scullery Crew (Cabrillo Music Festival)

Paul's acts of loving kindness were clear demonstrations of who he was. He was a valued member of the Cabrillo Music Festival's Scullery Crew every summer for the past 3 or so years and that's where we met. A seemingly simple act, providing specially brewed tea every morning for the tea-drinking musicians was just one small, but not insignificant example. He IS and WILL BE MISSED for his calming nature, service to others and hugs when all else failed.

Paul was an amazing, humble and honorable person. His spirit lives on in so many organizations and people he touched.
