My brother and I were groundskeepers for the New River Rebels in Narrows, Va. ( 1946-1951 ) Jack Crosswhite was the manager and he brought many Roanoke area baseballers to our small town. To name a few...Harry Crosswhite, Harry Bushkar, Richard Callison, Bernard Graybill, Bob Hall, and your husband,Dad and grandfather...Paul Johnston.
