Not sure what to say?

Only few days ago I was talking about Paul to one of my brothers since my other brother living in Sevilha is dying of bone cancer. Last time i saw Paul catching waves at Leo was painful to me how he was having hard time just getting into his car. Miss him at the line up sharing waves .Michel Deffense

He was truly a dawn patrol catching waves until few surfers would join him, I was one of them, i did enjoy his company. I saw him catch his last wave when I knew he was having trouble just getting out ocean and very slowly getting into his car by himself, despite his refusal to help him get to his car.. We loved listening to his music live , have few of his cd's , amazing talent , We miss you.

Paul will be missed by the dawn patrol surfers that respected him not only how good he was catching waves with his boogie board ,helmet ,gloves but also sharing his life experiences with surfer friends. I saw him catching his last wave at Leo and knew his cancer was getting best of him. Loved listening to his style of music live and listening to his CDs
May God be with you till we meet again.
Your dawn patrol surfer friend

My condolences to all of the family. Paul was a terrific teacher who always had the best interests of his students foremost in his mind. As a counselor at Agoura High for the many years we worked together I always felt confident that the students enrolled in his classes would have the opportunity for a great education if they were willing to put forth the effort. His passing at such a young age is truly sad and I share your loss. sincerely, Herb Feinman

To The Family of Paul Kanter,
I am saddened to hear of Paul's death. Paul was a wonderful friend to me when I worked in the Attendance Office at Agoura High. Each morning Paul would come through the Office with a smile and a comment which always made me laugh. My husband and I and our son Michael saw Paul perform at the Rabbit Hole in Agoura Hills. Such a talented and gifted song writer and musician.
