Paul E. Kidder, age 61, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 30, 2010, at Veterans Hospital in Omaha, Neb., and will be greatly missed.

Paul was born August 26, 1948. He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War who loved to fish, hunt, watch sports, and play with his grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Kelley and Kenneth Kidder; and brother, Howard Kidder.

Paul was survived by his partner of 26 years, Sharon McCoin; daughters, Laura McCoin, Morgan Kidder, Cassandra McCoin, Paula Mucci and husband, Dominic Mucci; son, David; brothers, Chuck, Gregg, Butch and Pat; sisters, Kay and husband, Terry, Mary and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Alexandria, Hannah, Dominic, Savannah, Seth, and Cooper; nieces and nephews.

A memorial with military honors will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, April 8th, at Walnut Hill Cemetery, in Council Bluffs.

I am sure you don't remeber me Laura but you used to babysit me in Goosehaven I am sorry to hear about your dad he is in a better place now with my mom as well keep your spirits up and remember that he will always be watching down on you and your family give your mom a big love and let her know you are in my prayers at your time of loss.
