Not sure what to say?

Paul was an extremely kind and caring person to everyone he came in contact with. It was my privilege to work closely with him at Hillcrest. He was the same outside of the school environment. There would be a lot more success in schools if all administrators were as caring. He was a great friend and a great role model.

Paul, I will miss you. Thank you for your insightful, meticulous, and kind tutoring as I mentored under you in my administrative program in 2007. You are hilarious, wise, and I will miss you. Atentamente, tu amigo

I worked with Dr. Paul Kirby at Brighton in the EdNet Dept for 4 years and at Hillcrest for 4 years. Such a caring Individual. Always made time for everyone and made you feel important. Had a Heart of Gold...He will truly be missed..

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Kirby's passing. My son was a special needs student at Hillcrest and Mr. Kirby always had time to talk with him. I will always be grateful for his kindness and patience with my son.

So sorry to hear of Paul's sudden passing. I worked with him at Brighton High School, and remember fondly our association. He was a great guy, administrator and friend. I will miss seeing him.

Paul's legacy will live on in the achievements of the students who he taught, advised, encouraged and inspired. We are grateful that his career path crossed with our family's attendance at Hillcrest High School. The Otto family sincerely appreciates his contributions to the Hillcrest community and to our students' experiences in high school. We hope his family members' fondest memories of Paul will sustain them when they miss his most.

Dr. Kirby (Paul) was a very kind man who loved helping people(students) no matter their circumstances. I very much enjoyed the talks we had about many different subjects and was impressed with his constant desire to continue learning. He was a great friend and will be missed.

Thanks for being friendly and kind to me when I was the Graduate Program secretary at the foreign languages department at the University of Utah in the early 1990s and you were a Spanish Program graduate student and Teaching Assistant in that department at the same time. That meant a lot to me. You did real good and obviously made a great impact for good in many lives. I was lucky to have known you.

Was a great vice principal at Hillcrest. Will be missed
