I was so saddened to read the news of Paul's passing in the Fall issue of Michigan Alumnus. Paul and I grew up in the same building in The Bronx and my memories of him go back a very long way.
My heartfelt condolences to you, Dana, and to your family.

I am so saddened by this news. Dr. Kissner was an inspirational teacher, physician and human being. My condolences to Dr. Dana Kissner and their children. He will be forever remembered and cherished by Wayne State alumni for shaping our knowledge and for his kindness and decency.

Paul, I really miss you. I don't remember a time that I didn't know you and that we weren't the best of friends. I'll miss our yearly birthday calls and sharing our love of DOGS and lots of other memories from growing up. Even though we haven't seen each other much since our early years in the Bronx it seems that we were never far apart. I guess that's what real friends are. You'll always be with me.
My condolences to Dana, Sol and Sara. I hope you are doing well.
