It appears here that he was also a great father and husband. That comes as no surprise to a student of his from the mid 1950s. Please accept my sympathies.

My sincere condolences on the loss of Mr. Lacey. He was my first Guidance Counselor at Arlington High and he was so kind and helpful and made me feel so welcomed (as a new student to the school and the area). He was tough and gentle at the same time. I always will remember him. May he rest in peace.
