Not sure what to say?

It is difficult to put into words the impact that Dr. LaGrone had on students, faculty, staff, and friends. The School of Business (COBA) is where it is today from his efforts. He was a friend and mentor to both Judy and me. His memory will not soon fade.

Dear Dot, Bob, Mike and your families,
Beth and I send our deepest sympathy for your loss and know that you have lost a great gentelman. Paul was a devoted friend to so many people and I was fortunate to consider him a friend and admired supporter to many activites in Statesboro. His love and devotion for the Boy Scout program was known throughout the Coastal Empire Council of BSA and his passion for this program enabled many young men to achieve greatness due to his dedication. ...

Bob,

I'm so sorry to hear the news of your father's passing. Please know that you and all your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

With sympathy,

A good friend and educator will be long remembered.

Larry E Price
Professor Emeritus, GSU College of Business

He was never easy, but he was dedicated, and determined to see his students perform their absolute best. He was instumental in starting me on my career. I'm so glad that I was able to tell him all of that(and more than once), and I know that I was certainly not the only student that owed their career to Paul. I'm so sorry that we were out of town for the holiday, as I didn't find...

Bob, Mrs LaGrone and Family,

Deepest sympathies on your loss. What a full and inspiring life Dr. LaGrone lived, and how broad the scope of the lives he touched.

With thoughts and prayers,

Mrs. LaGrone...Paul was a good "Dean" friend for 40 years. He was a wonderful educator who helped many studends. He came to Winthrop University for a semester after he retired and gave his full salary to GSU for student scholarships. He loved GSU, Statesboro, and was greatly respected as a professional.

Mrs. LaGrone you are in our thoughts

and prayers. Ina Smith from Willow
