Paul was a good friend and Mentor. As we verified a wafer measurement on his Bell Labs 4 Point Probe and our LEI
Contactless Probe a nearby epitaxial reactor operator asked me to go with her because she was afraid her reactor might explode. When we got there and prayed the reactor didn't explode.

Paul Langer and his family were my neighbors as a child. He was a kind soul who dedicated himself to his family, their welfare, and their aspirations. Mr. Langer spent so much of his time being a great role model for his family, and for myself as well. He was always a gentle person who never hesitated to be a mentor and to be fair as well on a consistent basis. The world is truly a better place with the impressions and influence he leaves behind for us. Deepest condolences to all.

So sorry for the loss of this good man. Paul was my friend when I needed a friend. My world was a better place because Paul was here. Consequently, the world itself was a better place because Paul was here.
