Paul Lefebvre, 69, a resident of South Hadley, unexpectedly passed into eternal life on Monday, June 30th. He was the beloved son of the late Irene and John Lefebvre. He leaves his devoted wife and love, June. He also leaves his children Melanie, Danielle, and Ryan. His eldest daughter Melissa predeceased her father. He also leaves his grandchildren and great-grandchildren—Makayla, Ashley, Joe, “Lil” Melissa, Zoey, and Micah who will truly miss their “Bapa.” Paul also leaves behind his two sisters, Christine and Cherie; his brother Gary predeceased him. He also leaves many devoted nieces and nephews.
Paul was a lifelong sports enthusiast, enjoying playing hockey, softball and bowling, earning his first bowling trophy at 9 years old. From then on he bowled in leagues throughout his adult life, where he made lifelong friends. His expertise at painting and wallpapering alongside his Dad for many years earned him the nickname “Paul the Painter.”
My brother Paul was known for his storytelling and his amazing humor! We all enjoyed sitting with him laughing endlessly at his storytelling.
By far, the unexpected passing of Paul has left our family with such immense sadness. We cherish our memories of him, and he will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gofundme.com for Paul Lefebvre.
A Celebration of Paul’s life will be Tuesday July 29th at 3:00pm at the O’Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley. For more information or to make online condolences please go to obrienfamilyfh.com.

To June and your family, I want to send my most sincere condolence to you and your family. I had the pleasure of meeting you and Paul over 20 years ago when you would visit my friend and Paul’s sister Christine in Rhode Island. I always looked forward to seeing Paul. There wasn’t a person I knew that could know stats on teams and players from 30 years ago like Paul did. I really enjoyed our conversations. Somehow, with his gregarious personality, he would command a room. Keith Martin

My brother was a special guy, he had so many unspoken qualities that made him such a special person to many people. I´m sure each and everyone of you as the closest to him , can reminisce and look back on all those fond memories as your hearts heal. I know I will do the same. My heart is heavy...

I’m gonna miss the phone calls and The talks about the Yankees and all the things we had going on together in our lives. I heard so much about how proud he was of his kids in the past few years and his grandkids and great grandchildren. He also mentioned how much he was concerned about his wife (June) and how much she meant to him.I’m gonna miss my little buddy Paul and you will always be on my mind and in my heart. ❤ Love and miss you give the little general a hug for me..
