Not sure what to say?

Over ten years now. How do we conceive of immortality? Is it memories in the hearts of others? Some existence outside the physical world? A universal connection with all living things? Griff was a colleague, and I hope, a friend. Perhaps I could have done more to know him better? He has entered my dreams. Often. Don´t know what this means.

Hi Griff, My days at Fond du Lac are some of the best memories of my life. Thinking of you and hoping your family is well. Hugs. Jeanne Eberlein-Burmeister

Susan and family, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one.

Griff, thank you for times of encouragement and
Laughter and especially you statement "You should be one wealthy artist by now!" So like you. So typical of you to say what you're thinking. Knowing it was meant as a bit of a scolding I decided to take it as a complement. Students were treated as friends and they had a mentor who cared, a teacher who would take any one who needed to talk to your office Thank you for that Griff. You have been blessed with a most wonderful wife and...

Susan,
I am saddened by the loss of Griff. He is a unique and authentic person who lightened this crazy world with love, joy, laughter and so much caring that it was an honor to embrace it. I feel honored to have known him. Love and blessings to you as you walk through this grief journey. You are not alone and all of us are holding you in our hearts and thanking you for sharing the love of your life with all of us.
Blessings, Gloria Peterson

Dear Susan: I was so sorry to hear of Griff's passing. I hope the memories of all of your years together will help to comfort you. I remember how excited you were about the house in Michigan you were going to move to upon leaving Fond du Lac.Just as those of us who needed your ears and understanding, remember there are lots of people who will lend an ear to you. Miss you. former patient

So sad to hear of your loss..and really the loss of all of us. Griff was an amazing and inspirational person,my favorite professor and sometime friend of the family. We will all miss him.

G-d bless you Susan and all of your family, keeping you close to his heart during this sorrowful period of unmeasurable loss, and may G-d bless and keep your beloved husband Griff in his eternal care.

He will missed! He was my professer for a few classes at different times of my life. Right out of highschool and as a non traditional student a few times. He was a great inspiration. I was very shy the first time I had him as a professer. One of my favorite memories of him was, when he looked at me with his evil glare to challenge my art work and told me "you are getting better at taking my evil glare". He was a great professer and I will charish all the memories of being in his classes!
