Not sure what to say?

My heart is breaking at the loss of a truly wonderful gentleman. While I am heartbroken at the loss of Mike, it was extremely wonderful reading how Mike enjoyed so many things in life rather than being stuck in one profession until his passing. I worked with Mike at Cooley for a number of years. Mike was always there to assist us whenever we had a question or whenever we needed a "friendly ear". I remember Mike play the piano at many of our holiday parties. He will be truly missed and...

My deepest sympathy to the his family. Mike was one of a kind gentleman. he was caring, honest, fun and most of all trust worthy. I knew Mike since 1977. he was always kind and fun to talk to especially when it came about his family and the family trips they always took. every Christmas, I looked forward getting his long letter telling all about the adventures spent with the family. he will be miss forever. please keep in your hearts and mind, that he was loved for the kind of gentle man he...

I'm so sorry to hear of your loved and deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.

I have a wonderful memory of Mike and Sandy taking me and my 15-month old daughter on her first big hike up on Carson Pass to see the wild flowers. Mike showed Meg all the beautiful flowers along the way. We enjoyed spending many summer vacations at our next door cabins.

I am so sorry to know that Mike has left us too soon. I will always remember the day we spent walking the spring line, taking pictures, and preparing to put together an illustrated instruction book for opening and closing the spring. But mostly I will remember that he and his mother Carrie loved the wildflowers. When Dan and I were married in 1975, Paul ad Carrie gave us a porcelain souffle dish with wildflowers decorating the side because it reminded her of the wildflowers here, and I think...

I will always picture Mike and his brilliant smile at the piano tinkering away at some jazz piece. Mostly because that is where he was before Sue and I snuck out of the house many times to find mischief with the Green Machine. Much love to my Little family and I will miss you, Papa Little! With love and jazz notes, Katie
