Paul Thomas Lowman, Jr., 25, of Blairsville, PA (Blacklick Twp.) died on Monday, August 25, 2003 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

A son of Paul T. Sr. and Deborah R. Clawson Lowman, he was born January 4, 1978 in Indiana, PA.

Paul graduated from Blairsville High School in 1996 and from the Indiana County Vocational-Technical School welding program.

He was employed as a boilermaker and was a member of Union Local #154 Boilermakers and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers-Iron Ship Builders.

Surviving are his parents, Blairsville, PA; half-sister, Jodi Lynn Lowman, Jacksonville, Tennessee; maternal grandfather, John M. Clawson, Ligonier, PA; paternal grandparents, Mike and Betty Beskid, Blairsville, PA and Tom and Wilda Lowman, Clymer, PA; a special friend, Crystal Butchkoski, Indiana, PA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Roberta Clawson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 P.M. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Elizabeth B. Rogers officiating.

Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
