Not sure what to say?

Are there contemporary saints? If so, Paul Lowry was one. His faith was reflected in everything he did. He sang in the "Messiah" with the University Choral Society for 50 years. Every Thursday morning he would be at St. Andrews Church serving breakfast for the homeless. He was always running errands for anyone in need. About 20 years ago, when Paul and I could still handle late nights, we both volunteered to sing for the mid-night service on Christmas Eve and he was usually the one...

Cousin Paul was another of the generation I entered too late to know when they were growing up but because he was in Ann Arbor he was one of the cousin's I got to know well. As a repository of family history, understanding and musical inspiration he was important to me. The only three I know remaining are Scott Westerman (Ann Arbor), Jean Westerman Greg (Woodbridge Ct) and Harold Westerman (Oreno Me).
I will miss hearing from him.

We sat next to Paul at the UM basketball games for many seasons and always enjoyed his beautiful rendition of the national anthem and his high-spirited support of the team. Charming and gracious at all times, Paul will be remembered.

Pete,Denise,Mason and Chelsea- so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad and grandpa. Our thoughts are with you.

I sang with Paul in the Choral Union for many years. He was so much fun to be around and we were always happy when he and Donna were around. Enjoyed the CU travels with them also. My deepest sympathy to his family. Mary Haab Schellenberger, Fremont, Indiana
