Paul J. Madden

Paul was a very gracious, devoted and talented man. He took me on as a legal intern while I was in law school. He was extremely patient and generous with his time. Paul was a determined and dedicated advocate. My prayers go out to Paul, his wife Mary and all the Madden family during this difficult time. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

I was a brand new Legal Aid lawyer in 1980. The lessons in toughness and principle taught to me by Paul have served me well throughout my career. He was a dedicated advocate for the powerless and downtrodden. He walked the walk and will be missed.

I never met Paul, but I'm sure many people have wonderful memories of his goodness. My prayers are with Mary and his family, especially his sister Kathy.

I was an attorney at the Legal Aid Criminal Appeals Bureau for many years and worked with Paul from time to time. He was a man of integrity and my colleagues and I held him in high regard. I was very sorry to hear that he passed away.
