Not sure what to say?

I remember Fr Paul very well when he served as a priest at Sacred Heart Church (now named Our Lady of Guadalupe Church) in Holyoke, MA. I am sorry for your loss. He obviously did great things for those lives he touched! Peace, Terry Dann

What a gift to the world. Paul's passion for service, ministry, and his faith touched me deeply. I found him to be a wonderful colleague and collaborator during my time in the Springfield diocese. He introduced me to the Hispanic Catholic community and to some in the community who have influenced and changed my life in profound ways. I do and will always remember his deep love for the Lord and for the people he served. I thank God for sending him into my life, and I know that there's an...

Paul was such a kind man. He was our pastor at Holy Family. When my Mom was very ill he would often stop by to visit and lift her spirits. Heaven has gained a very sweet soul! My thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife and family.

It was an honor to know Paul Manship during his years of serving as at Holy Family Parish in Springfield MA. He will truly be missed and remembered. My Love and Peace to his family at this time.

I met Paul when he first arrived as pastor of Holy Family Church in Springfield. I could tell from that first meeting that he had a caring heart and he loved people. He always preached giving hope and guidance to people. I will always remember Paul as a friend. I'm glad he was able to spend the rest of his life with the one person he loved, his wife Laura. May Paul rest in peace.

Such an amazing person. So sad to hear this news. He will be greatly missed.-Melissa Conlin

Paul and Laura,

I write to both of you with love and gratitude. I see your face, Paul, and somehow hear your heart beating with Laura's--all in the heart of Christ. This Passiontide and Easter I am praying for you and your friends everywhere, that His compassionate heart ease the loss and separation you know in time. May you find rest in the shelter of His Spirit's wings, be warmed by the eternal kindling of love for you and yours and the tender concern of all of us who know in part...

Paul responded to the gospel mandate by tending to those who suffered in body or spirit with kindness and compassion; to the poor and forgotten with steadfast love and tenderness; and showed exemplary courage and strength when standing witness as a priest for peace and against the great injustices of the day. The world was made better by the life of this good and gentle man. Rest In Peace, Padre, and may the heavens open wide with joy for you!
