Not sure what to say?

I remember Paul as a gentleman-scholar-someone enthusiastically participating & cheering us on as we created book discussions & special library programs. He was also for the longest time a library trustee-offering thoughtful insights into programming & planning. It was always a joy to be with Sally & Paul at many Island events. Warmest wishes to Sally & their family! -Gloria Redlich

My sincere condolences to the family. Paul was the attorney for the Colton family Windsor Locks, CT.

Mr. Marte and my dad were great friends and fellow rotarians. He was always paid attention to us when we were just kids, wanting to know about our lives. As I "grew up", I had contact with him through my work and had the utmost respect for him. Sending condolences to your family.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Paul Marte. He was a great friend of my dad's, Mitchell Hadge.

Paul was a very sweet man. He was inquisitive, intelligent, caring and engaged in all around him. I loved his attendance at book groups on the Island & his support of the programs we at the Senior Advisory ran. He was a loving & devoted husband to Sally and I always felt a good friend. With deep affection to Sally & best wishes to all Paul's family~Gloria Redlich

I worked for Paul from 1987 through 2003 and continued to stay in touch with him during his retirement years. He was a wonderful man, a great boss and I will miss our telephone chats about the royal family! My sincere condolences to Sally, Paul, Peter and Susan.
