I was shocked to read of the passing of Paul. He certainly touched my life in many ways. He was a down to earth Regional Director who ate his lunch out of a brown paper sack and still had time to see anyone who would like to see him. He was indeed the finest UAW leader that has come along in the past 50 years. I would put him up at one of the top leaders of his generation.

I am so sorry for your loss. Paul has been very gracious to me and my family. Because of Paul getting me employment into Saginaw Steering Gear he allowed me to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming an architect. He has touched my life in a profound way. I thank the Lord for Paul and your family.

The Mastos family was very important to us when we were growing up. Paul was always there when we needed help. God bless him.
