Dear Matia Family, I am devastated to hear about your loss. I wish your family the utmost comfort during this difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I was blessed to teach, work with and learn from Paul while he was a student at Lawrence School. Paul was truly a gift to anyone who had the opportunity to know him. His kindness, generosity, intellect and sense of humor made him a very special person. I will cherish my memories of Paul and pray that family and friends find peace and strength from memories made while Paul was with us.

If everyone had a son like Paul the world would be a better place. It was a pleasure knowing and spending time with Paul.

We did not know Paul personally, but are so very sorry for the grief, loss and sadness that his family - and our dear friends, are experiencing. You are all in our prayers.

We are so deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your beautiful son. We fondly remember the AAU basketball games with Alex & Paul playing alongside each other on the same team. Paul was always so positive and such a joy to be around.
