I know this may seem strange, but in WWI my grandfather, Clarence F Robinson was wounded in the Meuse Argonne and lost his left arm. A fellow service member named Paul Matuscak helped save his life. Paul wrote a moving letter to him in 1921, from the Cleveland YMCA,describing the event when he was injured. After the war, Paul apparently changed his last name to Matthew and completed school to become a pharmacist. I was wondering if you may be related? I would eventually like to get a Purple...
