Read MorePaul was city manager in Bowling Green and helped recruit me to be one of the first KY "Roving City Managers" for the Barren River Area Development District. I remember riding with him in his red Mustang to the ICMA Conference in Dallas, TX. Also a very early one day return trip after a very short night's sleep.

Paul served as President of the Kentucky City and County Management Association from 1976-1977. He was an honorary member of the Association, in recognition of his service.

Paul was a good friend. Loved to reminisce on a long & caring life. Had a wonderful & full life & career. And, loved to argue about anything from sports to politics. I´ll miss him.
