Dear Sister McLean, I was so very shock to hear of Brother McLean's passing. I usually sit either in front or behind you and him at church. I just seen both of you on 1st Sunday January and on 3rd Sunday he's no longer with us. I'm heart broken as I know you and your family are also. I enjoyed watching him hold your hand during church service. I thought how endearing. His presence will surely be missed. May God bless you and your family at this most difficult season.

My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Paul and I spent many hours together as doctoral candidates in the VA Tech program. I was blessed to have known him. He always had a smile and word of encouragement for us. A man with a tender heart and compassion for the children he served in his many years as an educator.
