Paul Albert McNeely

Paul Albert McNeely, 87, has left this earth to join his beloved wife, Margaret Coline McNeely; daughter: Paula Coline McNeely Stewart, brothers and sisters, parents, and former wife Frankie Wycoff McNeely in their heavenly home. Paul was a resident of 2582 Shady Grove Rd. Connelly Springs. He was an army veteran of the Korean War, a retired auto mechanic, former owner of M&S Garage in Hildebran, and retired surgical assistant from Catawba Memorial Hospital in Hickory. He was of the Methodist faith. Those who knew him would attest to his loving and caring nature, his sweet spirit, his very giving heart, his fiestiness, and his humor. Those who love him know that this loss creates an incredible void! He is survived by granddaughter Lisa Coline Hollar, spouse: Joshua William Hollar, and great-grandson Zachary Christian Hollar who will all miss him terribly, but are happy to see him promoted to Heaven, where we will see him again someday! He is also survived by sister Azalea McNeely,age 91, of Connelly Springs. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Burke Memorial Park in Drexel with family Rev. Kelly Aiken officiating. Military honors will be provided by North Carolina National Guard and Caldwell County Honor Guard.
