To the Family of Dr. Paul McNeer,
I just learned of Dr. McNeer's death when I called for my annual eye exam, yesterday, May 3rd. I am so sorry for your loss. I used to tell him how much I liked the office on Hamilton Street because it was so quiet and like stepping back in one's childhood doctor's office. He was very patient with me. May you all feel peace knowing he was a wonderful person who will be missed by many on this earth.

To the McNeer Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Dr. McNeer was very helpful in starting my nursing career. He was always willing to teach and provided me with so many opportunities beginning in his office downtown, later in the Westend and also assisting him in the OR at Richmond Eye Hospital. I loved keeping up with your family through our story sharing at sporting events when he was refereeing my daughter. He is a man that made a great impact...

To the McNeer family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you all at this time of sorrow. Dr. McNeer took care of my eyes for close to 20 years and I shall alway remember his caring and kindness.

I was so sorry to hear of Paul's death. He was my room mate our senior year at Randolph Macon and even though I have not seen him for over thirty years, he was a special friend and will be missed.
