Not sure what to say?

I recently completed my Ph.D., May 2024 and acknowledged LTG Menoher in my dissertation for being so instrumental in my life. What a gift and an honor to meet such a phenomenal man! Forever Grateful! Dr. J. Ross

I remember about 1976 when General Patton was our Post Commander and was due to visit LTC Paul Menoher at 1st Bn USASATC&S as he was Commander at 1st Bn. He gave me a walkie talkie with CPT William W Larson CDR of Co A present as they were going duck hunting for mallards on the base lake! He said when General Patton arrived to call him on the radio and they would drive back in jeep! When the General arrived I had him take a seat in LTC Menoher's Office! I went behind Bn Hqs and called on the...

I remember seeing LTC Paul Menoher when he became my Battalion Cdr at 1st Bn USASATCS Ft Devens Mass in 1975. He was an extremely tall Officer who cared about his men more than any others I knew. He awarded me the ARCOM. I was his S-1 NCO contact specialist. Not surprising he became a General; He was that great! I remember Gen Patton was Post Cdr and Cpt William Larson and LTC Menoher wanted to go test out their new shotguns. They gave me a walkie talkie and said when General Patton arrives...

1st Bn USASATC&S when Paul was a LTC and Cdr of 1st Bn; I worked to provide all admin support in 1st Personnel Admin Center combining all clerks together from Companies! He brought out a sign with an arrow pointing to my desk HMFIC! He really had a sense of humor. Like when him and CPT Larson went duck hunting and left me there in charge with a walkie talkie to call them back when General Patton arrived! One of the great Army Officers of all time! Proud to have served with him! Number One Dude!

Condolences to the family for Lieutenant General Paul E. Menoher Jr.

I only spoke to Paul a few times on the phone and enjoyed the conversations. My paternal grandmother was a Menoher from Latrobe, PA. My older brother Karl Menoher Everett knew Paul as they were both in MI. Karl just passed on 1 October. I have been doing the Menoher Family History for almost 20 years. Please accept my condolences. My phone is 7249252366.
