I was saddened to hear of his illness on Wed., and his passing on Fri. and was blessed to have spoken with him Thurs. evening to let him know that his many friends loved and prayed for him. He was happy to hear this and said "this is what I want to hear". It was a short conversation as he was weak...but he knew!
