Paul Michael Morgan, of Flushing, age 46, loving father, grandfather and son, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at his residence.Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, October 7, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Kenneth M. Brown officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Paul's children. Visitation 1-8pm Sunday and 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Paul was born in Flint on June 1, 1967 and was a resident of Flushing since 2001. He owned and operated Morgan Irrigation Company for the past 13 years. Paul loved all sports, especially fishing, hunting and golf. But more than anything, he loved his children. Surviving are children, Taalor, Hunter and Averi; granddaughter, Ansley; son-in-law, Steve; mother of Paul's children, Victoria Morgan; mother and step-father, Barbara Brackins and husband Edward; step-brothers, Edward, Jr., Dawon, Shawn, Thomas and Kent. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert in 1994. Your condolences may be shared with the family at

It's almost been a year & I'm still in disbelief such a great man has been taken from our family:( even though Paul was a brother in law to me he was like blood & I always considered him a real brother. He told me one time I was the only sister he ever had & it saddens me that he's been taken away from us all. My heart will always go out to my big sis, my two lovely nieces, my handsome nephew & my adorable great niece. I love you all so much & remember I'm always here for you no matter what...

I just saw that you lost a good man. I grew up down the road from him in Kentwood. He was a great guy back then and I know has only gotten better. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

I just found out about Paul today. I am so shocked and saddened. My prayers are with you kids and Vic. Averi I still have a picture you drew of me on my fridge. All my love Marcia,Sophia, Jack and Bobby Ransom.

We just heard about Paul, and are shocked and saddened. Paul installed our sprinkler system 13 years ago, and maintained it ever since. He was always very friendly, hard working, and a pleasure to be around. We will miss him very much, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Incredibly heart-breaking to watch my sister and her family suffer through this. For over 20 years I watched with love and admiration as my sister and Paul built a beautiful family and estate together. The love they had and have for each other is awesome to see. R.I.P. Paul Michael Morgan....gone but never forgotten
